Description

Polka is a new addition we have this season.  Anemone type dahlia, it has a beautiful pale yellow flower, with a dark raspberry center.  The edges of the petals are lined with a raspberry edge, and the flower has a fluffy, yellow center.  Lacey foliage and a beautiful dahlia to add to your garden.

Growers Notes:

  • Dahlias are planted in spring after the soil has warmed up to 60 degrees
  • Plant around the same time you would plant tomato plants and other warm season crops
  • Plant dahlia tubers in an area that receives 6-8 hours of sunlight per day
  • No extra water until sprout is 5”-6” tall, normal spring rains will give all the moisture it needs
  • After the dahlia sprout is 6”, deep soak every 2-3 days
